- Minimum
age of driver must be 23 years.
- Driver
must be in possession of a valid unendorsed drivers licence
for at least 2 (two) years.
- Minimum
rental period is 24 (twenty four) hours.
- Kilometers
are calculated from depot to depot.
- All
vehicles are hired out with a full tank of fuel and are refuelled
on return for the hirer's account.
- All
speedometers are sealed and if tampered with, 1000 kms per day
will be charged.
- If
a hirer wishes to extend his rental, we must be informed immediately.
- Rates
and Conditions are subject to change without notice.
- Vehicles
are rented subject to our Standard Rental Agreement.
- Insurance
cover is compulsory with Atlantic Car Hire unless proof of own
insurance can be provided.
- With
the Standard Insurance cover option, the hirer is liable for
the first R12000.00 in the event of an accident / theft of the
vehicle. A Super Cover option with a reduced excess is also
available.
- In
the event of an accident or damage being done while travelling
on gravel, dirt or roads where conditions are not suitable for
driving, the hirer will be responsible for the full value of
any damages and related charges.
- Damaged
or stolen tyres, rims, trims, mirrors and all glass will be
replaced at the cost of the hirer irrelevant of what insurance
has been accepted.
- Contract
fee of R40.00 / Additional
driver charge of R160.00 / Baby / Booster seats at R120.00 per
rental / Traffic fine admin fee of R400.00
